Wilma is our superb and quite rare 1978 Karmann Cabriolet VW Wedding Beetle, with a 1600cc fuel injected engine (which gives her a very distinctive purr!)
Wilma is a “Champagne Edition”, a rare beauty with pure white body and Champagne coloured convertible roof. The “Champagne Edition” VW Beetle was a special run, some of the last that Karmann ever made…… one of these cars was given to each VW dealer in the USA in 1977/78 as a display model!
Wilma has been a wedding girl for many years, she is very experienced and very professional…… and the big question we always get asked is “Will ma dress fit in?” (Hence she was named ‘Wilma’!). The answer is yes, there is a lot more room than you may think, and all our chauffeurs are well trained in helping brides effortlessly get in and out of Wilma!
